Yvette Preston

Yvette Preston is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and account management within the government and defense sectors. Yvette currently serves as Business Development Director for Defence & Intelligence at Microsoft and has held multiple roles including Regional Engineering Lead for Microsoft Azure in Australia and New Zealand, managing significant portfolios in immigration, border protection, taxation, and finance. Prior to Microsoft, Yvette was the State Manager for Federal Government at Optus, overseeing a branch with revenues exceeding $231 million and managing the Border Security Agency portfolio. Earlier experience includes account management roles at Telstra, focusing on defense and foreign affairs, and as National Business Manager for Education at Singtel Optus, shaping strategies for higher education.
