Zheng Yang

Zheng Yang is a security researcher focusing on web security and cyber forensics, currently serving as a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft. They hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in cybersecurity from Georgia Tech, where they also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. Prior experience includes a research internship at Microsoft Research and a role as a Product Test Engineer at Micron Technology. Zheng has developed machine learning and graph neural network algorithms to detect fraudulent Azure tenants and designed web security projects for various courses.
