Eric Hall is the Principal Identity Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where they lead a team focused on securing Microsoft’s Entra ID tenants at scale, specializing in identity and access management, automation, and cloud security. Prior to their current role at Microsoft, they served as a Captain in the US Army from 1999 to 2004 and worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior Systems Engineer/Team Lead from 2004 to 2007. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
