Sandra Fernandez currently serves as Operations Director and Development Project Manager at microStart since October 2021. Prior experience includes over a decade at Caritas International.be, where Sandra coordinated European projects financed by ERRIN and AMIF, overseeing project implementation, financial reporting, and operational support. Additional expertise includes capacity building for partners across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, institutional communication, and organizing seminars and webinars. Sandra has also worked as a Reintegration Counsellor, providing individual support for voluntary returnees, with a focus on Africa and Latin America. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Iberoromance Languages from Ghent University and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Event Management from Arteveldehogeschool.
