Microvida is een kenniscentrum en laboratorium voor medische microbiologie en immunologie, actief in Midden- en West-Brabant en Zeeland.

Met een team van circa 150 medewerkers ondersteunen wij de zorg (1e lijn, ziekenhuizen, GGD’s, VVT, …)  bij het vaststellen, behandelen en voorkomen van infecties en immunologische ziekten. Jaarlijks onderzoeken wij ruim 300.000 menselijke materialen op ziekmakende micro-organismen (bacteriën, virussen, schimmels en parasieten) of verscheidene kenmerken van het (dis)functioneren van het immuunsysteem.
