David Neal is a highly experienced aeronautical engineer currently serving as Principal Aeronautical Engineer at MicroVision® since August 2025. Prior to this role, David worked as a Senior Aeronautical Engineer at RapidFlight, LLC from July 2022 to September 2025, and spent over 14 years at Barron Associates, Inc., initially as a Research Scientist and later advancing to Senior Research Scientist. David holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where studies were completed in 2008, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science, both in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2006 and 2002, respectively.
