Till Steinbach

Till Steinbach has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Till currently holds the position of Vice President Sensor Engineering at MicroVision, where they have been since September 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Sensor Engineering from March 2023 to September 2023.

Before joining MicroVision, Till worked at Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH from 2017 to 2022. During their time at Ibeo, they held multiple positions, including Program & Portfolio Director from November 2022 to February 2023, Product Manager for Electronic Control Units & Software Integration from May 2019 to October 2022, and Team Leader for Software Integration from April 2017 to May 2019.

Till also has experience as a Research Assistant at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from September 2011 to December 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Freelancer/Consultant and System Architect from February 2008 to April 2014, and as a Bachelor student at Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH from April 2008 to August 2008.

Till Steinbach has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Till completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Computer Science at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2008. Till then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Distributed Systems at the same university from 2008 to 2011.

Following their master's degree, Till Steinbach simultaneously pursued a Doctor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Till completed their doctorate from both institutions in 2018.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Till Steinbach has obtained certifications such as the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021.
