Zack Smith

Zack Smith is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and quality engineering. Currently, Zack serves as the Mechanical Engineering Manager at MicroVision, where responsibilities include leading the redesign and development of next-generation MEMS laser scanning devices. Prior roles at MicroVision include Sr. Staff Mechanical Engineer and Staff Mechanical Engineer, focusing on product design and advanced manufacturing for opto-mechanical systems. Zack’s experience also includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Protingent for Microsoft’s Hololens project and quality engineering roles at Varian Medical Systems and Calypso Medical. Zack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
