Malin Brodén's work experience begins in 1993 when they joined Scan (Farmek AB) as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Foodservice. Malin then moved on to Kraft Foods AB in 1997, where they served as a Trade Marketing Manager for Estrella and Old El Paso brands until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Lantmännen Unibake as a Trade Marketing Manager for Schulstad. Malin then joined Santa Maria LinkedIn site and held various roles such as Nordic Trade Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, and Nordic Marketing Manager from 2003 to 2013. After that, they worked at Paulig Foods from 2013 to 2019, initially as a European Trade/Shopper Marketing Manager and later as a Strategic Project Manager. Most recently, they have been working as a Marketing Director at Micvac AB since 2019. In 2023, they became the VD/CEO of Sveriges Trädgårdsmästare.

Malin Brodén completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Gothenburg from 1989 to 1993. In 2010, they attended IHM Business School briefly to study Leading Sales and Marketing. In 2005, they completed a program at Dale Carnegie focused on Communication and Leadership. Additionally, in 2000, they pursued a course in Strategic Brand Management at IHM Business School. Malin also participated in a Management Program at Gothenburg Management Institute, although the exact dates of their enrollment are not provided.
