Michael Bogdanski

Michael Bogdanski has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Micvac, a venture capital backed food technology company. In this role, they have led the transformation of the company from a start-up into a professional-scale up, achieving 50% revenue growth since 2019. Michael also recruited a new management team and staff to focus on technology mastery, customer acquisition, customer development, and innovation.

Prior to Micvac, Bogdanski founded and invested in Tree Lane Property, where they successfully increased the value of properties by rezoning them into multi-tenant units. Michael then sold the portfolio at a 2x valuation.

Before that, they worked at SC Johnson Professional USA as the President & CEO of Deb Group North America. In this role, they had P&L responsibility for the North American business unit, overseeing a staff of 100 and achieving revenue of 100 MUSD. Michael also negotiated a strategic agreement with Network Alliance and incorporated the acquired STOKO business, resulting in significant cost savings.

Bogdanski also served as the Group Commercial Director at Deb Group, where they developed and implemented key commercial strategies and a CRM system. Michael led the commercialization of a new global product range and aimed to deepen penetration in the healthcare and industry sectors.

Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Essity, including Vice President of the Baby Care category, Vice President of Sales in the USA, and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing in Germany/Austria/Switzerland. Michael was responsible for driving category strategies, P&L management, and go-to-market execution.

Lastly, Bogdanski started their career at Procter & Gamble, where they worked as a Brand Manager in the Feminine Care category and a Group Product & Brand Manager. Michael also served as a Process Engineering Development Manager.

Overall, Bogdanski has demonstrated a strong track record in leading and transforming organizations, driving revenue growth, and implementing strategic initiatives across multiple industries.

Michael Bogdanski obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, they have completed the Board Readiness Programme from Alumni, which they obtained in June 2021.
