Greg Shaffer

Greg Shaffer is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Analyst at MidCap Financial since July 2023. Previously, Greg held the role of Vice President of Finance for the University of South Carolina Interfraternity Council, managing finances for 22 fraternities and overseeing the collection of dues and allocation of funds. Greg’s internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at DH Capital involved assisting with client deals and presenting case studies. Additional finance experience includes serving as Vice President of Finance for Sigma Phi Epsilon, where budget management and payment collection were key responsibilities. Earlier roles included Operations Manager at Premier Hardscapes Inc and Food Service Manager at River Falls Community Center, showcasing diverse skills in operations and marketing. Greg graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina in 2023.
