Simon (Dingji) Liu is an experienced finance professional currently serving as AVP of Life Sciences and Technology Finance at MidCap Financial since August 2025. Prior to this role, Simon worked at CIBC as an Associate in Innovation Banking, where responsibilities included the entire credit investment process and financial modeling. Simon’s career also includes a position as an Analyst in Institutional Credit at Citizens Financial Group, where Simon developed financial models and conducted quantitative analyses. Simon completed a Commercial Banker Development Program at Citizens, rotating through Leveraged Finance and Institutional Credit Management.
