Jay Cunningham

Jay Cunningham has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jay currently serves as the SVP and Head of Credit and Diligence at Midcap Business Credit since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GE Capital for over 17 years. At GE Capital, they held various senior roles including Senior Vice President of Working Capital Solutions from 2013 to 2020, Vice President of Corporate Lending/Bank Loans from 2003 to 2013, and Vice President of Workout & Loss Mitigation from 2009 to 2011. In these roles, Jay was responsible for managing portfolios, evaluating transactions, structuring deals, and mitigating losses through workout, litigation, and bankruptcy processes.

Jay Cunningham pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Elmhurst University, followed by an M.B.A. in Finance at the University of Connecticut.
