Rui Nakata

Rui Nakata is a senior software engineer currently at Midcap Business Credit. They previously held the position of Software Engineer II at H-E-B, where they contributed to the online grocery ordering application and led the transition from GCP to AWS. Prior to that, Rui worked at Saatva, architecting a microservice for Magento and introducing CI to existing applications. They began their career as an Associate Software Engineer in QE at WP Engine, where they developed automated frameworks and worked on AWS infrastructure. Rui holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from Colgate University and has also completed studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
