Leal Daniel Peralta

Leal Daniel Peralta has extensive experience in compliance and market surveillance, currently serving as the Compliance and Market Surveillance Manager at MidChains since July 2022. Prior to this role, Leal was a Trade Surveillance Senior Analyst at Macquarie Group from February 2019 to July 2022 and held the position of Assistant Manager focused on Trade Monitoring and Surveillance at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from December 2016 to January 2019. Earlier in the career, Leal worked as a Team Lead at Cognizant Technology Solutions from May 2013 to April 2016 and at E*TRADE from March 2009 to April 2013. Academically, Leal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, specializing in Software Engineering from the Information and Communication Technology Academy (2007-2010), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (2001-2005), along with early education at Philippine Science High School and Mother of Divine Providence School.
