Simon Schwarz

Simon Schwarz is a co-founder and Managing Director of FreightInsure, a company established in 2022 to simplify freight insurance through an embedded insurtech solution, partnering with Lombard Insurance Group and HDI Specialty SE. Simon also serves as a Non Executive Director for Insurtech Australia, promoting innovation in the insurance sector, and holds an Advisory Board Member position on the Regulatory & Compliance Working Group at Middle, focusing on open banking digital mortgages. Previously, Simon held significant roles at BizCover, where achievements included leading major investments and market entries, and was involved with various organizations such as zipMoney Limited, Macquarie University, and Votiro in leadership and advisory capacities. Simon's educational background includes an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
