James Schmidt has over 30 years of experience as a mechanical engineer. James worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Middough Inc. from 2014 to the present. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Superior Engineering, LLC from 2013 to 2014. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Senior Engineer at Ambitech Engineering, where they led the mechanical engineering for the scale up of a pilot process to full production unit. James began their career at Raymond Professional Group/Doyen & Associates in 1991, where they served as a Lead Mechanical Project Engineer. Their responsibilities included overseeing the design and standardization of material handling systems and HVAC requirements for various projects. James also worked at Quaker Oats from 1987 to 1991 as a Project Engineer, managing the relocation of processing lines. At Corn Products International from 1983 to 1987, they worked as a Project Engineer and led the construction of a new powerhouse and boiler feedwater treatment facilities.
James Schmidt attended Northwestern University from 1975 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
