Mingyan Sun has extensive experience in intellectual property, currently serving as IP Director at Midea Group since March 2017. Prior roles include Head of China IP Services at Thyssenkrupp China from 2012 to 2017, and Sr. IP Counsel at Lenovo from 2009 to 2012. Mingyan began a career as an Associate at Baker & McKenzie from 2005 to 2008 and worked as a patent attorney at East IP from 2003 to 2005. Mingyan holds an LLM in Law from China University of Political Science and Law (2008-2011) and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Peking University (2000-2003 and 1996-2000, respectively).
