Yaodong Wang

Yaodong Wang is the General Manager of Midea Electronics at Midea Group, where they lead the organization with full P&L responsibility, focusing on engineering capabilities and operations in electronics manufacturing. Prior to this role, Yaodong served as an Engineering Manager at Apple, specializing in design for manufacturing for iPhone and iPad products. They hold a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UCLA, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering from Birmingham University and a Bachelor of Science from Central South University. Their experience also includes roles at Intel Corporation and Hewlett-Packard, as well as research work at Nagoya University.
