Located just 25 miles south of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, Midlothian is one of North Texas’s safest and fastest-growing communities, offering a rare balance of opportunity, accessibility, and quality of life.

Rooted in a legacy of cement, steel, and advanced manufacturing, Midlothian has experienced significant growth in recent years. This momentum has fueled new business expansion, the development of modern business parks, increased retail investment, and sustained residential growth across the community.

Midlothian continues to attract interest from companies and site selectors nationwide thanks to its strategic central location, strong transportation network, high median household income, skilled workforce, and access to quality educational assets. Build-to-suit opportunities are available in RailPort Business Park and Midlothian Business Park, positioning the city for continued industrial and commercial success.

Midlothian Economic Development is committed to partnering with businesses, developers, and the community to build strategic relationships, support sustainable growth, and strengthen the city’s long-term economic vitality.
