John Wright

John Wright has over 40 years of work experience in the construction industry. John has held various roles, including Project Director, General Manager, Deputy Project Director, and Project Manager, in companies such as Midmac Contracting W.L.L., McConnell Dowell, NC Civils Port Moresby, McConnel Dowell/Consolidated Contractors JV, Consolidated Contractors International Company, Murray & Roberts, Mannai Corporation, Clugston Limited, Galliford Try, and Carillion. John has worked on a wide range of projects, including runway construction, LNG plants, refinery construction, road construction, and bridge construction.

John Wright has a comprehensive education history in the field of civil engineering and highway construction. John started their education in 1963 at Dr Morgans Grammar school in Bridgwater Somerset, where they completed their A levels until 1970. John then pursued an Ordinary National Certificate in Civil Engineering at Stockton Billingham Technical College from 1970 to 1972. John continued their studies at Teesside University, obtaining a Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering from 1973 to 1974, followed by a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from 1974 to 1978. In 1990, they obtained the prestigious qualification of Member of the Institute of Highways and Transportation from the Member Institute Highways and Transportation.
