Lance Smith

Lance Smith serves as Corporate Counsel for MidPen Housing Corporation since September 2010, overseeing the legal department's activities in various areas including litigation, asset management, and contract negotiations for a non-profit developer of affordable housing. Prior to this role, Lance held the position of Corporate Counsel at Greenbriar Homes Communities from 2005 to September 2010 and was Principal at Morgan Miller Blair, a law firm specializing in real estate and builder representation, from 1995 to 2005. Early career experience includes attorney roles at Diehl, Steinheimer, Riggio, Haydel & Mordaunt (1994-1995) and Porter, Scott, Weiberg & Delehant (1992-1994). Educational qualifications include a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA in Political Science/American Government from Claremont McKenna College.
