Senior Vice President, Investment Management at Midway

Robert Williamson has extensive work experience in the real estate and investment management industry. Robert currently holds the role of Senior Vice President of Investment Management at Midway, a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to this, they held multiple senior positions at Midway, including Senior Vice President of Investment & Capital Markets and Vice President of Investment & Capital Markets.

Before joining Midway, Williamson worked at HFF as a Senior Managing Director from 2003 to April 2017. HFF is a leading provider of commercial real estate and capital markets services.

Earlier in their career, Williamson was a Managing Director at Granite Partners LLC, a boutique real estate investment bank with offices in New York and Houston. Robert was one of two partners based in the Houston office.

Before joining Granite Partners, Williamson worked at American General Realty Advisors as the Director of Mortgage Loans. Robert originated and underwrote commercial mortgage loans and directed a production through six mortgage correspondent firms.

Prior to that, Williamson worked at TIAA as an Associate Director of Mortgage & Real Estate. Robert originated and underwrote commercial mortgage loans and served as an acquisitions officer for TIAA's Real Estate Separate Account.

Williamson began their career at Prudential Financial, holding various positions within the company's corporate office in New Jersey, as well as field offices in Houston and New York. During their time there, they were part of the National Marketing team that assisted national firms with their real estate needs.

Their early experience includes working as a Credit Analyst at Texas Commerce Bank.

Overall, Robert Williamson has a broad range of experience in real estate investment and management, with a focus on commercial mortgage origination and underwriting.

Robert Williamson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Trade from Texas Tech University from 1975 to 1980. Robert later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Texas at Austin, attending from 1983 to 1985.
