Michael Fox

Michael Fox is an experienced air traffic controller currently working at Midwest ATC and as a virtual ramp controller for Kansas City International Airport. Previously, Michael served in various roles at the Federal Aviation Administration from 1991 to 2022, including FAA Instructor and Traffic Management Coordinator, where responsibilities included training, managing traffic flow, and collaborating with military users. Michael has also been a union representative and executive board member for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association and held the position of president of the Employee Benefit Fund. Michael's military background includes service as an Aviation Operations Specialist and as a fire direction computer in the Army. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management from Central Missouri State University and ongoing studies in Aviation Management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
