Robert Phillips is an experienced Air Traffic Control Specialist with a career spanning several decades in various positions related to air traffic management. Currently serving at Midwest ATC since September 2016, Robert has previously held roles at the FAA Air Traffic Control Tower from May 1998 to June 2016 and at Serco from August 1996 to April 1998. Earlier experience includes a position as an Air Traffic Control Facility Watch Supervisor with the US Navy from July 1973 to September 1978 and additional roles at the FAA Air Traffic Control Tower in the early 1980s. Robert has completed the OJTI Cadre facilitator certification from the FAA Academy, as well as specialized training in radar air traffic control and air traffic control operations from Navy schools.
