Midwest Hemp Technology (MHT) is revolutionizing agriculture in the heartland. Based in Augusta, Kansas, MHT is leading the reintroduction of industrial hemp, a sustainable, high-value rotational crop that benefits farmers, the economy and the planet.

Founded in 2021 by CEO Sarah Stephens and managing member Troy Palmer, MHT operates on a collaborative business model. The company partners directly with farmers in Kansas and the Midwest, providing a stable market for their hemp grain and fiber. This approach empowers farmers, builds a resilient domestic supply chain and helps close the knowledge gap around hemp's incredible on-farm potential.

MHT's innovative whole-plant utilization process transforms every part of the hemp stalk into valuable products, contributing to a zero-waste, circular economy.

Hemp Grain: We process nutrient-rich hemp seeds into food products under our "Hempy's Heart" brand, including protein powder and omega-rich hemp seed oil.

Hemp Hurd: This woody core is prized for sustainable construction materials like hempcrete, a lightweight, carbon-negative alternative to concrete. It's also used as absorbent animal bedding and natural mulch.

Hemp Fiber: Our short-strand fibers are used in high-performance materials like insulation, bioplastics and even next-gen composites.

MHT's mission goes beyond processing. We are dedicated to environmental stewardship, championing a plant that sequesters carbon and regenerates soil. We are actively building a future where agriculture, innovation and sustainability go hand-in-hand. Join us in cultivating a better tomorrow.

MHT carries wholesale supplies of grain, hurd, fiber and micronized particles. Call or connect online to purchase processed hemp from MHT.
