Yoel Silverman

Yoel Silverman currently serves as the Research Laboratory Manager at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute since May 2023. Previously, Yoel worked at the Weizmann Institute of Science in the Department of Biomolecular Sciences from October 2019 to November 2022, contributing to the development of artificial multicellular organization of complex bacterial populations. Prior research experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute, focusing on environmental physical chemistry and directed evolution of enzymes. Earlier roles include mentoring at a locked institution for juvenile offenders and managing youth centers, building skills in leadership and event organization. Yoel holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Agriculture from Tel-Hai College.
