Mighty Kidz Services (MKS) is a trauma-responsive, neurodiversity-affirming organization dedicated to supporting autistic children and their families through compassionate, evidence-based care. Founded by Lindsay Schmelzel, Founder & CEO, MKS was built on the belief that meaningful progress happens when children feel safe, understood, and empowered. 

Mighty Kidz Services provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and related supports through a trauma-assumed lens, recognizing that many children and families arrive with lived experiences that deserve respect, dignity, and partnership. Our approach emphasizes connection first—prioritizing regulation, trust, and relationship-building before skill acquisition.

Mighty Kidz Services is headquartered in South Carolina, with active expansion into North Carolina, and continues to grow thoughtfully to meet community needs while maintaining clinical integrity and heart-led leadership.
