John Barns

John Barns has over 8 years of work experience in the beer and retail industries. In 2013, they began working as a Flooring Sales Specialist at Home Depot/Your Other Warehouse. In 2015, they took on two roles: a Live Nursery Specialist at Lowe's Companies, Inc. and a Restaurant Manager and Key Holder and Floor Lead at Slesar Bros Brewing Co. In 2017, they began working at Hopsters as an Assistant Production Brewer and Cellarperson, Head Front of House Brewer, and Lead Bartender. In 2020, they became a Packaging Operator at both Mighty Squirrel and Lagunitas Brewing Company. Most recently, they have been a Production Operator at Pipeworks Brewing Company since 2021, and a Packaging Lead at Mighty Squirrel since 2022.

John Barns attended Johnson & Wales University from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained a Brewing Certificate in Brewing Sciences. Prior to that, they attended Bard College from 2010 to 2013, but did not obtain a degree.
