Matt then worked as a Development Analyst/Assistant Controller at Columbia Properties, Inc., exploring new markets and evaluating the viability of new retail developments.

Matt later joined Gene Kansas Commercial Real Estate as an Associate Director, specializing in marketing commercial properties for sale and lease, with a focus on restaurants, retail, and entertainment. Matt successfully represented tenants in their property search and led negotiation processes.

In 2012, Matt became the Vice President of Business Development at Regional Medical Group and held this role until 2014. During this time, they played a key role in the development and growth of the organization.

After that, Matt worked at Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. as the Manager of Brand Innovation. Matt was responsible for delivering creative and compelling innovations to drive traffic and guest frequency. Their work included research, trend knowledge, collaborative ideation, and analysis.
