Product Support (contractor) at Mightycause

Holly Melvin has held three positions in their career. In 2013, they were a Product Support contractor for Razoo. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Meteorological Application Developer for Wyle Information Systems, where they were responsible for rapid prototyping of NextGen software for forecasting aviation weather. Holly also designed new tools and algorithms and developed a tool to reduce product issuance time from 45 minutes to 10 minutes. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida State University, where they investigated lightning cessation by relating radar, lightning, and numerical weather model parameters. Holly also wrote custom software to analyze, manipulate, and display large datasets of weather and lightning data, and utilized the Warning Decision Support System - Integrated Information (WDSS-II) to merge, analyze, and display data, as well as to data mine storm characteristics for predicting lightning cessation.

Holly Melvin attended Florida State University from 2003 to 2010, where they earned a B.S. in Meteorology in 2007 and an M.S. in Meteorology in 2010.
