Simon Baumann

Simon Baumann currently serves as Leiter Finanzsysteme & Prozesse at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund since February 2020. Prior to this role, Simon held the position of CFO at Gries Deco Company GmbH from January 2019 to January 2020, and has held multiple positions at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund from September 2006 to December 2018, including Programm-Manager "Fast Forward," Leiter Controlling MGB, and Controller within the Direktion Marketing Near/Non Food. Simon's earlier experience includes serving as Financial Controller at Swiss Re from May 1999 to April 2006 and working as a Merchandiser at GLOBUS from January 1996 to July 1998, as well as a Product Manager Versand at Jelmoli between August 1993 and December 1995. Simon holds a Master of Advanced Studies ZFH in Accounting & Finance from HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich (2014-2016) and a Betriebsökonom FH degree in Marketing & E-Business from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences (2001-2004).
