Chris Downs

Chris Downs, EIT, is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in component selection and modification for electric motors at MiTek. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Mechanical Engineer I at Nidec Motor Corporation, focusing on mechanical components, programming part selection tools, and technical documentation. Previous positions include a Database Developer at Amec Foster Wheeler, where Chris designed user interfaces for report automation and collaborated with geologists and engineers, and a Project Controls Scheduler at Black and Veatch, where Chris served as a Quickbase administrator and automated project scheduling tasks. Chris has also provided math tutoring at various educational institutions and completed an internship in the IT department at Bayless School District. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
