I used to spend hundreds of thousands a year on promoting companies. And with the ever growing pinch on marketing spend I'd spend considerable amounts on digital marketing, because that's where most people are these days.

I'd have digital agencies, media companies and every 'digital guru', 'online specialist' or 'insert random made up tittle here' trying to sell me on the latest and greatest online solution. They'd be promising tonnes of views that would somehow equate to sales.

It was tough to wade through all the B.S out there in the digital world. Time and time again I would feel sick at the amounts I was spending and the sheer lack of results I'd ultimately be getting.
