About Mikoko Development Foundation (MDF)

Mikoko Development Foundation (MDF) is a Tanzanian-based non-profit organization dedicated to environmental conservation, youth empowerment, and climate resilience. Guided by our Strategic Plan 2025–2030 and aligned with global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) pillars, we implement impactful, community-driven programs that restore nature, build livelihoods, and promote green innovation.

At MDF, we believe that local actions drive global change. Our initiatives combine science, sustainability, and social equity to address critical challenges such as deforestation, youth unemployment, climate change, and food insecurity.
