Miles Beam is an accomplished engineering consultant with extensive experience in marine accident reconstruction and product safety. As the President and CEO of Milestone Technologies Inc. since 1994, Miles has led the development of innovative software for satellite networks. An engineering group leader at Underwriters Laboratories Inc. prior to this role, Miles specialized in marine and electro-mechanical product testing for UL certification. Early career experience includes serving as a flight test engineer at the Naval Air Test Center, where responsibilities included establishing safe parameters for aircraft weapon release. Miles holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
