Mike Soss

Mike Soss serves as Chief Investment Officer at Millburn since January 2022, having previously held roles such as Co-Chief Investment Officer and Deputy Chief Investment Officer. Prior to Millburn, Mike was at Point72 from March 2015 to January 2021, where the position of Head of Fusion/Internal Alpha Capture involved the redesign of the internal alpha capture division, integrating technology and interdisciplinary research teams. Additional experience includes roles as Head of Trading Research, Senior Risk Officer at J.P. Morgan, Partner/Portfolio Manager at SECOR Asset Management, and positions at Goldman Sachs including Portfolio Manager and Co-head of Systematic Equity Trading. Early career work at Chemical Computing Group focused on data analysis and modeling. Mike's academic credentials include a BA in Mathematics from Harvard University and both an MS and PhD in Computer Science from McGill University.
