Courtney Wright

Courtney Wright is the Vice President of Learning & Organizational Development at the Millennial Action Project. In her role, Courtney will lead the Millennial Action Project (MAP)’s development and implementation of organizational learning strategy that guides both internal and external learning activities.

Courtney has over 15 years of training design and facilitation experience. She has worked in a variety of roles supporting the learning and growth of others. Prior to coming to MAP, Courtney worked as an independent consultant where she collaborated with a variety of clients in designing and facilitating experiential and interactive training curricula that addressed organizational wellness, racial justice, equity, inclusion, leadership development, effective communication, and emotional intelligence. Courtney's clients ranged in size including international governments and NGOs, federal government, local government, non-profits, and small businesses. Her experience includes work in India, Kenya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Sudan, and the United States. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Professor at American University where she teaches a graduate level course on Training Program Design. Courtney is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and served in Malawi, Africa where she facilitated girls empowerment programs and teacher training.

Courtney received her BSc. in Secondary Education and English from Vanderbilt University and her MA in International Training and Education with a focus on Non-Formal Education from American University.

Courtney is a Chicago native but global citizen. When not at work, you can find Courtney exploring locally owned restaurants in the DMV, practicing yoga, connecting with loved ones, or Hulu and hanging with her loveable American Bulldog, Jaxx.
