Aaron Key is an Applied AI/ML Scientist currently serving as the Head of AI for Fixed Income, Commodities & Risk Technology at Millennium since 2024. Previously, they held roles at Bloomberg LP, where they led Enterprise Quantitative Research & Development and worked as a Quantitative Researcher and R&D Developer from 2018 to 2021. They also served as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon Web Services from 2021 to 2024. Aaron's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics and a Master’s degree in Physics from The University of New Mexico, as well as a Licenciado en Física from Universidad de Granada. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Teaching and Research Assistant at The University of New Mexico in 2010-2011.
