David Roberts has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. David started their career as a Networking Intern at the State of Missouri in 2009. David then worked at SOCKET as a Residential Tech Support and later as a Business Analyst from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined CenturyLink as a Programmer II, where they provided support to multiple departments. David also worked as an Engineer II, responsible for designing and engineering OSP and ISP equipment and networks. Additionally, they worked as a Communications Technician, supporting and turning up copper and fiber plant and core devices. Most recently, they joined Millennium as a Broadband Solutions Engineer in 2022.

David Roberts has a diverse educational background. David started their education at Rock Bridge High School in 2002 and completed their high school education in 2006. Following that, they attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2006 to 2008, where they then transferred to Linn State Technical College. At Linn State Technical College, they pursued a General Education field of study.

In 2008, David attended the State Technical College of Missouri, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Networking Systems Technology. During their time there, they specialized in the Telecommunications option within the field of study. David completed their associate's degree at this institution in 2010.

Continuing their education, David then enrolled in Columbia College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems. David completed their bachelor's degree in 2018.

Additionally, David has obtained several certifications to enhance their education and skills. These certifications include Adtran ATSA from ADTRAN, Certified FTTX Technician (CFxT) from the Fiber Optic Association, Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) also from the Fiber Optic Association, and CompTIA Project+ from CompTIA. The specific months and years of when they obtained these certifications are unknown.
