Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas has over two decades of experience in the construction industry, specializing in field measurement and tower crane operations. Currently serving as Field Measurement Manager at MillerClapperton since March 2010, Michael leads a department that employs advanced 3D infrared scanning technology to enhance measurement accuracy for metal composite materials. Prior to this role, Michael held various tower crane operator positions at multiple companies, including Holder Construction Company and Batson-Cook Company, where responsibilities focused on efficiently moving materials on construction sites. Michael's career began as a Rigger-Flagman at Carolina Steel & Stone, further developing foundational skills for effective site communication and safety. Michael holds a Diploma with Honors from James Madison High School, supplemented by education at Osborne High School.
