John Maeda

John Maeda is an American technologist and product experience leader who currently serves as the VP of Engineering for Microsoft CoreAI Design & Research and as a board member for MillerKnoll. An accomplished author, they have written five books, including "How To Speak Machine" and "The Laws of Simplicity." Maeda's past roles include chief technology officer of Everbridge, president of the Rhode Island School of Design, and various board positions in influential organizations such as Sonos and Wieden+Kennedy. They hold multiple degrees, including an MBA and a PhD in Design Science, and have received several honorary doctorates throughout their career.
