Edgar Ramirez has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, beginning as a VoIP Engineer at Unitel from December 2000 to May 2008, where responsibilities included working with Ericsson ANS and Nextone Softswitch, as well as managing satellite stations. Since May 2008, Edgar has served as a Core Rollout Engineer at Tigo Guatemala, focusing on advanced technologies such as 5G, VoLTE, and VoBB, while also overseeing the deployment of critical core network components including Huawei HSS, MSCs, SGSNs, GGSNs, DNS, RNC, NE40s, SBCs, and firewalls, alongside Ericsson MSServers and HLRS.
