Gil Naranjo

Gil Naranjo has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Head of Digital Agile Project Management Office at Millicom International Cellular (Tigo) since 2012, where responsibilities include leading a team of 300 across nine countries and enhancing business processes through Lean Inception. Prior to this role, Naranjo was a Senior Program Manager at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, managing a $10M annual portfolio for major clients including Verizon Wireless and Telmex. Naranjo’s earlier positions at Alcatel-Lucent included Technical Sales Support Manager and Technical Support Manager, where achievements included exceeding sales quotas and establishing a successful Remote Technical Assistance Center. Naranjo holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from The University of Dallas and a BS in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
