Jaime Arango

Jaime Arango is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and IT operations. Currently serving as the IT Category Manager - Procurement at Millicom since July 2016, Jaime leads strategic sourcing initiatives in IT infrastructure, security, and related categories, aiming for significant savings and effective supply base decisions. As a co-founder of Cervecería Libre de Colombia, a craft brewery in Medellin, Jaime actively contributes to its development and growth. Previously, Jaime held several key positions at UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones, including Data Center and IT Office Director, where responsibilities encompassed engineering and operations of IT infrastructure and managing significant budgets. Jaime's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad EAFIT, complemented by executive education from INCAE Business School.
