Jairo Garcés is a seasoned information security expert with extensive experience in security management and compliance across various industries in Latin America. Currently serving as a Security & Compliance Specialist at Millicom (Tigo), Jairo is responsible for developing a portfolio of information security and compliance services. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Officer at Datcon SAS, where Jairo focused on information security management projects based on business risk analysis, and Information Security Manager at Claro Colombia. With a strong background in the implementation of security frameworks, including ISO 27001, Jairo has also held leadership positions at Globaltek Security, Gonet, and Siemens Enterprise Communications, contributing to cybersecurity initiatives and developing secure coding practices. Jairo holds a Master's degree in Information Security and has completed specialized studies in risk management.
