Marco Solano

Marco Solano is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud operations. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Backend Operations Engineer at Millicom (Tigo) since January 2023, Marco previously held positions including Especialista en Virtualización e Infraestructura at Racsa from March 2015 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing VMware infrastructure and virtualization. Additionally, Marco served as Gerente TI at U Hispanoamericana and worked in cybersecurity at I.N.S, focusing on the development of security policies and solutions within the Microsoft platform. Early in the career, Marco supervised a data center at ATH, managing AS/400 platforms, and began in IT operations at Credomatic handling application monitoring and user support. Marco holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Fidélitas, attained between 2010 and 2013.
