Sofìa Corral

Sofìa Corral currently serves as the Director of Corporate Communications at Millicom (Tigo) since November 2022. Prior to this role, Sofìa held the position of Head of Communications & Public Policy at Santander Argentina from March 2022 to November 2022. From March 2019 to January 2022, Sofìa was the Director of Strategic, Internal, and Press Communications at DIRECTV Latin America, after serving as the Corporate Communications Manager for Argentina and Uruguay at DIRECTV from June 2011 to March 2019. Sofìa began a career in journalism at Diario La Nacion, where the individual worked from November 1997 to May 2011, covering various sections with a focus on the Employment area in the last four years. Additionally, Sofìa was an academic responsible for the Seminar on Integration II at the Universidad de Palermo and owned Duplus Comunicación, focusing on institutional writing and text correction from February 2007 to January 2011. Sofìa's education includes an MBA in Business Administration from UADE and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Universidad del Salvador.
