Al Schmitz

Al Schmitz is a Consulting Actuary at Milliman, Inc., where expertise resides in senior health care products, particularly long-term care (LTC) insurance. Since September 1998, Al has collaborated with major LTC insurance carriers in the United States, contributing to product development, financial projections, appraisals, compliance issues, and experience analysis. Prior to this role, Al served as an Actuary at Assurant from December 1990 to September 1998. Al holds an MBA in Finance from Marquette University (1998-2001) and a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh (1986-1990).
