Amy Giese

Amy Giese serves as a Principal and Consulting Actuary at Milliman since September 2011, focusing on health care reform strategies, commercial health plan strategies, pricing, product design, and Medicare Part D bid development. Previously, Giese held the position of Director of Provider Management Actuarial at Assurant Health from June 1999 to August 2011, where responsibilities included analyzing provider vendor accounts and strategic financial planning. Giese also worked as a Small Group Actuary at Assurant Health, pricing small group products across forty-five states and engaging in product development and financial monitoring. Giese holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 1993.
